Virginia has the craziest weather. Yesterday, Sunday, we were in short sleeves, eating hamburgers outside, assembling some wicked looking Lego dudes out on the deck.
Then today.
A March winter storm. I remember many of these growing up. Global warming, wha??? I made the very difficult decision of staying home with the boys on this snow day. Ha! The roads are like an ice skating rink since this all started as rain so VDOT couldn't pretreat the roads. No way am I putting my little go-cart in a ditch today! I think I would rather stay in my PJs, update my iPhone, play Hungry Hungry Hippo, watch movies and drink vanilla hazelnut tea.
Its nice when the snow day is on a Monday too since the house was cleaned and laundry was done this weekend. I'm giving us permission to do nothing today. No to-do list. And all the little boys in the house say, YESSSSS!!!!!
